Do Younger People Dislike Golf?
A lot of the younger people that I have spoken to have no interest in golf at all but is there a reason for this or do they just dislike the sport?
Old Man Plays
Let's face it, most people will not want to play a sport that their dad and this is because it is deemed as being very uncool indeed and the problem with something like this is that if you do take part in golf with your dad you are going to have everything ripped out of you at school and if you think about it this really isn't fair at all.
The Style
Many of the top golf clubs in this country at least will make their golfers wear all kinds of mad and crazy garments, this is going to make you look like an idiot. Many of the golfers look idiots and I cannot imagine what someone in their teens is going to look like in trousers, a very camp looking shirt and shoes that just don't make much sense at all.
The Positives
Golf is a very, very well respected sport of course you do get some mishaps like the entire Woods incident but the chances are that you will become a great player if you play from a young age. My dad has been playing since he was a boy and he is one of the top players at the golf club located nearest to us.
It is a very sociable sport and you can talk when you are playing and just have a laugh with a couple of your mates. The money involved for the decent players is fantastic and there is no reason you cannot reach this potential.
So pack those 12v batteries up get thosebattery accessories ready and put them in yourgolf trolleys and get out there for some golf!
So come on people get out there and enjoy the sport, the very least you can do is help your Dad out by caddying for him for a game, this would really make him happy and you may even find you like the sport.
